Well, after the disappointment of the election when the Blob party vote was wiped out by the Kevin 07 brigade I am now turning my attention to technology. I have been looking at Del.icio.us (#13) and Technorati (#14). And my blog posts should now be tagged to Technorati - except they arent because of system slowness and Technorati is timing out so the blogging world at large will still be missing out on the world of blobfish - for now. Delicious is probably good to use instead of the web browser bookmarks-if you get in the habit- wish it didn't have such an annoying name though, bit too clever-clever for us plain speaking blobfolk.
If you have been on the web for a while like most Blobs you will know a lot of this Web 2.0 (#15) has been around for a fair while, long before the 2.0 name came about, I suppose its a useful slogan (like Kevin 07 and "Working Families" but definately not like "Go for Growth") but I'm not sure exactly how much substance is behind it - you pick the stuff you like and use it just like you always have done on the Web. Still if it gets people thinking about using the Web for other stuff beyond E-Bay and Google thats good too.
